Old School Rhino

 The original Imperial Guard army list published in WD109 back in january 1989 stated that "The Adeptus Mechanicus and Servitors accompanying an Imperial Guard force must be provided with sufficient vehicles to carry them". At the moment my IG army has two Adeptus Mechanicus and four servitors. I chose a rhino APC for their means of transport. It took me a while to get my hands on an original rhino and even longer to finish painting it. It sat in a locker for couple of years undercoated as I was gathering motivation/courage to finish it. My experience on painting vehicles is very limited. Anyway here it is now.

I general I´m pleased with how it turned out. Kept the paint scheme simple and in line with the rest of the army. 

Support platoon Command section

 Here are the latest additions to my Rogue Trader era Imperial Guard force. A Command section to lead the support platoon that will eventually be made of one support squad, one tactical squad and this command section.

The whole section together. From left to right: medic with las gun, heavy weapon trooper with las cannon, standard bearer, captain, commissar, section sergeant (using a imperial army medic model as he has the right weapons), 2nd heavy weapon trooper and sactioned psyker with las gun.

Ridiculously big plasma pistol and a crude field cybernetics/bionics fix on the captains right arm.

just visible on the left side. Yellow is the B company identifier color. Blue means that

it belongs to the regiments 1st battallion and red is the regimental color for 114th Salihanian.

Really enjoyed painting these two. A bit different from the common plastic troopers.

And in a good way.
